Crushing with a Purpose

God gave me this personal revelation this morning on my drive to work.

There are some things we go through that crush us and we think it was meant to destroy us, but in reality, God was using it to bring out something far more valuable than what was there before.

He gave me the image of a grape. A grape is sweet and provides some nourishment, but when it's crushed, it brings out wine, which is far more valuable than the grape itself.

If you're experiencing disappointment or hurt from something that's happened to you, I encourage you to get alone with God and ask him what value he is trying to bring out of you through the situation. And the most important part....be still and listen for his whisper.
