I don't have to words to express just how amazing today has been. Church service was on 🔥 ✝️. The power of the Holy Spirit was so thick throughout the buidling from praise and worship and the powerful message God delivered through our pastor.

We followed church service up by hosting our annual Easter lunch at our house. We had a house full of family and friends and a quick Word from God before an amazing lunch and Easter egg hunt.

My heart can't hardly contain the emotions I feel today. Jesus' death and resurrection means so much to me, but this year it has hit so differently, so much harder, more than any other year. As I grow spiritually and begin to see just how sinful and unworthy I am to receive a gift of such value, I find myself just overwhelmed with emotions. I am so grateful that He did not let the cup pass before Him. I am so thankful He loves me enough to sacrifice His life to wash my sins away and heal my mistakes, hurt, and pain.

Oh to be Mary Magdalene and the first one to see the empty tomb and resurrected King.

I can't fathom how she must have felt seeing it all come full circle. I can't imagine how she felt seeing the man who delivered her, taught her, loved her, supported her, and encouraged her rise as the old stories said He would. As Jesus himself said he would.

I am sure her heart was so troubled at the sight of his crucifixtion...a heart wrenching sight no doubt.

Standing & watching her dear friend, teacher and savior go through something none of us would ever be brave enough to willingly walk through....all for her.

All for me.

All for you.

A final blood sacrifice to wash away the sins of a world so hell bent on not acknowledging Him as our Lord & Savior. A world so unworthy, yet worthy enough.

And to be gifted with the first sight of Jesus resurrected...my heart would absolutely burst with emotions. So I can't hardly imagine how Mary felt in that moment.

How do you feel? Does your heart burst with emotions at the thought of this gift? Do you accept His gift of redeeming salvation?

Do you know this gift is for you? Did you know you don't have to be perfect to receive this gift?

He is calling you to Him. You hear and feel Him. You know exactly what I'm talking about. He is saying to you, "You are my son in whom I am well pleased" "You are my daughter in whom I am well please". He accepts you just as you are...all.your mistakes, glaws, hurts and habits. He wants a relationship not a rule follower.

Accepting His invitation is an invitation for Him to come in and heal, love, and grow you into the person He created you to be.

God showed something to me this week in my fast leading up to today:

If you read through His ministry you don't find him treating anyone harshly except the religious leaders. They had it all wrong. They were so quick to point out sin and want to punish and outcast people. They wanted to elevate themselves and do things that only benfited them.

But Jesus.

Oh Jesus.

He came and met sinners where they were. He touched their heart, sometimes told them their sin, healed them, forgave them, and said sin no more. He sought them out through crowds of people. He took out of the way paths just to seek out those who were lost.

They never walked away from their encounter with Jesus condemned, angry, sad, and defeated.

They walked away healed, excited, and telling everyone about their encounter with Jesus and how He met them, often bringing others to salvation through their testimonies.

An encounter with Jesus Christ is life changing.

My heart hurts so deeply for anyone who has been hurt by relgion and turned off from Jesus. He is nothing like religion. He is so loving, gracious, and merciful.

I pray you meet the real Jesus because He is so amazing. And if you have already met Him, I pray you have the boldness and courage to share Him with everyone who comes into your life.

✝️🙏❤️🐑
