The Lost Sheep

Politics, religion, politics in church, debates over whether Christmas trees are pagan or not all seem pretty trivial compared to people sitting in prison broken, lost, and hopeless and so open & hungry for the love of God. The reasons they're there really is because they're searching for anything to fill a void only Jesus can fill. When you experience this, all else seems pretty insignificant and all of a sudden you realize the true purpose for Jesus coming to the world to save the one lost sheep.
My mind has been spinning since Saturday when I volunteered for the first time at a women's prison and I'm just waiting for God to give me the words to be able to share my experience with you all.
